I have been working or living in St Albans since I finished University in 2000.

Working as part of the Corporate Projects and Performance Team I lead in issues such as the residents panel and consultation whilst supporting projects like EMAS (Eco-Management Audit Scheme) performance management and equalities.

• St Albans Liberal Democrat Party Agent and Organiser (Part time), as well as Gap year for International Politics, Travel and acting as the 2002 - 2003

Working part time for St Albans party as their political Agent I also spent time representing the party, and the country, overseas at events as diverse as

• St Albans District Council 2001 - 2002

As the Community Safety Co-ordinator I wrote the Community Safety Strategy for 2002-2005, the Community Safety Best Value Review whilst also making a practical differences. The best example being getting the County, District, Parish and Town Councils together to help fund CCTV for the rural areas.

• Hertfordshire Police Authority 2000 - 2001

Working for the Police Authority as my firs full time job out of university I ran public meetings across Hertfordshire and also administered the Initiatives Fund for the Police Authority. This included representing the authority at various joint meetings and working closely with partners such as the District Councils.

• Sainsbury’s 1995 - 2002

Funding my way through University stacking shelves wasn’t my ideal- but it was the only way I could do it. I was primarily Grocery and BWS (Beers, Wines and Spirits) but did bits everywhere.

• University College London 1996 - 2000

I graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Sciences with Honours. This covered subjects including: Management, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Law, Psychology, Archaeology, Egyptology and Philosophy. I also received Honorary Life Membership of the student union for outstanding contributions to the student union and was responsible for helping to found a number of societies.
