Talk to sixth form at St Albans Girls School

November 2nd, 2007 by Witherick

This was something that I couldn’t decide if I was looking forward to. Talking in schools can be daunting:

  • Will they heckle?
  • Will I be that boring speaker I hated when I was at school?
  • Will I make a mess of it?

In the end the feedback I had was relatively good, nobody snored, no heckling and they did seem to enjoy it.
Enough so that I might already be lined up for one or two visits to the year group which took part in the “I’m a Councillor get me out of here.” as well as politics students class.
